Luminescence sensors are capable of detecting both visible and non-visible marks that become illuminated under ultraviolet (UV) light. These sensors are able to reliably identify fluorescent materials and marks, regardless of their pattern, colors, or surface conditions, on any type of material. The sensors emit UV light with a wavelength of around 375 nm. When exposed to this UV light, fluorescent substances convert it into long-wave visible light, which is subsequently detected and analyzed by the luminescence sensor.
