    Responsibilities

    BEHCO is looking to find an industry experienced individual in Automation looking to drive growth and manage a significant portion of our vast product and solutions business as Product Manager.

    As Product Manager you will be expected to maintain a strong knowledge of products and industry applications. You should have the experience and understanding of the requirements of selling to various customer types from end users to OEM’s and experience in automation application sales and to assist in support of those customers. You will be managing the portfolio of products and the Manufacturers we have commercial arrangements with, assuring BEHCO’s ability to provide adequate product and application coverage and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. As Product Manager, you will also play a fundamental role in identifying gaps in product or application capability and presenting continuous improvement strategies to address these needs. You will also work with our sales team assisting them in calling on customers to secure new business. Coordinate pricing strategy, sales and market planning and forecasting, as well as planning new business growth opportunities through the company’s Strategic Business Plan. BEHCO prides itself in providing application knowledge and automation expertise to our customers, as such, this role requires the Product Manager to provide training to our inside sales personnel on products and applications.

    Skills & Experience

    • 7 or more years of outside sales experience in technical sales or related field.
    • Experience in the automation industry, including an understanding of equipment and field applications, is strongly preferred.

    This procedure establishes and describes the basic function, reporting relationships, duties, and responsibilities for the position of Territory Manager (TM).

     

    The primary function of the TM position is to promote and sell BEHCO products and services within an assigned geographic area, market industry, product range or list of customer accounts to achieve sales and profit targets.

     

    Basic Function

    The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for promoting and selling BEHCO products and services within an assigned geographic area, market industry, product range or list of customer accounts to achieve sales and profit targets.

     

    The TM is responsible for generating profitable territory sales growth by leveraging BEHCO capabilities and resources to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations with the goal of ultimately becoming a consultant to our customers.

     

    The TM is responsible for building relationships across all levels within existing customers and prospective target accounts to generate new business opportunities.

     

    Reporting Relationships

    • The TM reports to the Director of Sales
    • The TM works closely with Product Management and Applications Engineering personnel.

    As a Shipping & Receiving Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that parts are shipped and received in an orderly fashion. This includes coordinating shipments, packaging, and receipt details so that goods arrive on time and in good condition according to customer demands.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform receiving duties on incoming material, including item identification and description verification, quantity, and quality checks.
    • Load and unload trucks.
    • Correspond with shippers, team members and/or the department manager to report and rectify damaged shipments, discrepancies and/or shortages.
    • Label and stock incoming products into inventory or apply to customer orders, as required.
    • Process outgoing shipments.
    • Inspect and verify outgoing products ensuring that the products and quantities are accurate.
    • Prepare, package, palletize, and/or band products for shipment.
